Civilian Fingerprinting

Appointments are available on Tuesdays from 9:00-10:45 and Thursdays from 1:30-3:15.

Fingerprints are $35. Exact Cash, Check or Credit Card (CC payments are subject to a $1.50 processing fee)

  • VCIC Background Checks: Applicants requesting fingerprints through the Vermont Criminal Information Center (VCIC) must bring the Fingerprint Authorization Certificate (FAC), signed by the requesting agency, to their fingerprinting appointment.
  • Company-Specific Fingerprint Cards: Applicants needing fingerprints for in-state or out-of-state companies that issue their own fingerprint cards should not complete the cards in advance. Cards that are pre-filled may result in the applicant needing to reschedule their appointment.
  • Identification Requirements: All applicants are required to present two (2) forms of ID.
  • Primary ID: A valid photo driver’s license, a valid non-driver ID, a valid government ID card or Passport.
  • Secondary ID: Acceptable options include a signed credit card, passport, or student ID.
