Civilian Fingerprinting

Appointments are available on Tuesdays from 9:00-10:45 and Thursdays from 1:30-3:15.

Fingerprints are $35. Exact Cash, Check or Credit Card (CC payments are subject to a $1.46 processing fee)

  • VCIC Background Checks: Applicants requesting fingerprints through the Vermont Criminal Information Center (VCIC) must bring the Fingerprint Authorization Certificate (FAC), signed by the requesting agency, to their fingerprinting appointment.
  • Company-Specific Fingerprint Cards: Applicants needing fingerprints for in-state or out-of-state companies that issue their own fingerprint cards should not complete the cards in advance. Cards that are pre-filled may result in the applicant needing to reschedule their appointment.
  • Identification Requirements: All applicants are required to present two (2) forms of ID. Social Security Cards are not accepted as a form of ID.
  • Primary ID: A valid photo driver’s license, a valid non-driver ID, a valid government ID card or Passport.
  • Secondary ID: Acceptable options include a signed credit card, passport, or student ID.
  • Leave Children and Infants at Home.  We do not have Staff to supervise your children while you are being fingerprinted.  You will be refused service if you arrive for your appointment with children or infants.
